Day 02: Siem Reap - Beng Malea Jungle Temple - Tonle Sap Lake
This morning we drive through the Cambodian countryside to reach the jungle temple of Beng Malea. Constructed in the 12th century, the temple is now overrun with vegetation but still holds its charm. Following this we visit the local markets and Artisans d'Angkor; an area where disadvantaged youth are taught traditional Cambodian handicrafts.
Early afternoon we drive to the floating village of Kampong Khleang on the Tonle Sap Lake. We explore the village by boat before returning to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the summit of Pre Rup.
Dinner tonight will be at the FCC Angkor, which sits at the heart of Siem Reap Town. Overlooking the Siem Reap River this renovated French Governor's mansion is the perfect place to enjoy our first formal dinner together. After dinner we will make our way back to the hotel.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included

Day 03: Siem Reap - Angkor
Today we visit the main sites of the ancient royal capital of Angkor Thom (interestingly Cambodia’s national flag features a silhouette of Angkor Wat, the ensign being the only one of all the nations to feature a building). Cycling after breakfast we will not only visit the ‘Great City’ but also Ta Prohm and The Bayon. In the afternoon we visit the most famous and largest of all temples; Angkor Wat. Dinner tonight will be at one of the nicest Italian restaurants in Cambodia.

Day 04: Siem Reap - Project Work
Today will be the service component of our trip. Working in conjunction with Concert Cambodia we will be responsible for assisting in the restoration of a local house (Construct a new house for local). Lunch today will be on site. Dinner tonight will be at a local restaurant and during our meal we will be entertained by a traditional Apsara dance performance.

Day 05: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
This morning after breakfast we take the bus to Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh. On the way we visit ‘the ancient bridge’, a carving village and for the culinary adventurous we will stop at a local village where deep fried spiders, crickets and birds are sold.
Upon arrival in Phnom Penh we transfer to our hotel and get ready for lunch. After lunch explore Phnom Penh by cyclo. Phnom Penh was once considered the loveliest city in Indochina and still maintains much of its charm; the frenetic Sisowath Quay (Cambodia’s three kilometre raucous riverfront thoroughfare) being described by many as one of the more interesting streets in South East Asia. After our cyclo ride we head back to the hotel for a rest and to get ready for dinner.

Overnight at your hotel
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included

Day 06: Phnom Penh - Educational Tour
After breakfast we head off for a fascinating day of sightseeing in and around Phnom Penh. In the morning visit the notorious “Killing Fields” at Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng Museum, both of which chronicle the unfortunate years under the Khmer Rouge.
After lunch we spend time at the Royal Palace, which houses the Silver Pagoda, so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Also spend time today at the National Museum, which houses Khmer art from different periods of Khmer history.
There will also be time today for us to wander the stalls of Psar Tuol Tom Puong (The Russian Market) and also the Central Market.

"Always memorable!"

I consider myself very lucky to have known Mr Kun (Travelloops General Manager) since 2007. Many unforgettable fond memories have been attributed to the well constructed and customised itineraries Mr Kun and his team have thoughtfully put together for myself and the many friends I have travelled Cambodia (and neighbouring SEA countries) with over the years. Mr Kun and his team have always proven to be extremely knowledgable, accommodating and of course lots of fun to be around with many friendships forged over the years! Our short visit in June certainly didn't dissappoint. Although short on time (2 days) we managed to squeeze in a half day Angkor tour (in the comfort of an air conditioned car), sampled wonderful local cuisine and also got a taste of the local nightlife thanks to the amazing Mr Kun! Don't know when I'll be back but Travelloops will always be my first point of contact. Thank you Mr Kun for another memorable time in Siem Reap!

"Cycle touring Camboia and Laos, multi-day tours"

From 2010 to 2016, we have toured with Travelloops several times on very memorable trips. Our initial tour was 3 weeks from Siem reap to the Mekong which we followed from Pakse, Laos to Southern Cambodia. It was a tremendous trip due to the experience and wonderful Travelloops folks led by Chanra , chanra@travelloops.com. We have since done 2 more multi weeks tours and several 1 day trips, all of them tremendous experiences.
I can enthusiastically recommend Travelloops as a tours company for cycling, hiking, or motor tours in and around Siem Reap, Cambodia and Laos.
